According to a study done by The Lancet, the world's oldest and most popular medical magazine, Madhya Pradesh is the most vulnerable country in terms of coronavirus.
Bihar is in second place and Telangana in third place.
In this, Rajasthan has been placed at the 12th place, behind which the main reason is poverty and backwardness.
The study has prepared an index based on the social, economic, habitat and sanitation conditions of the states, demographics, non-availability of health services, risk associated with epidemic factors.

The Central Institute of Petrochemical Engineering and Technology (CIPET), a top tier institute under the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals of the Union Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, has received accreditation by the National Board of Testing and Calibration Laboratory (NABL) for testing and certification of PPE kits.
PPE kits include gloves, covers, face shields and goggles, and triple layer medical masks as per international standards.
This is yet another achievement to take a step further towards CIPET's Kovid-19 epidemic and towards 'self reliant India'.
CIPET: An application was submitted to NABL for accreditation after the IPET Center, Bhubaneswar developed the testing PPE kit facility.
After an online audit of its testing facility, NABL approved accreditation to CIPET-Center Bhubaneswar. Some other CIPET centers have also applied for accreditation which is in progress.

Announcing an investment of Rs 33,737 crore for a 7.7 percent stake in the US company Google's Jio Platforms, Ambani said that Jio will develop an Android-based smartphone operating system in association with the US company.
Recently, Google had announced investment of $ 10 billion or Rs 75,000 crore through Google for India Digitization Fund, referring to its investment plans for India.

The US Navy is conducting maneuvers with Ukraine and other countries in the Black Sea, located near Russia.
In this exercise, the US Navy is being led by the US warship USS Porter equipped with guided missiles.
This practice called Sea Breeze has started on 19 July (today). Navies of Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey and Georgia are also participating in this exercise.
Two thousand navies from a total of nine countries are taking part in this exercise. Most of the countries with which America has been conducting exercises, have been allies of Russia in the past, but now they are in the role of its opponents.
Recently US Navy aircraft warships also knocked in the South China Sea. The US has deployed its warships USS Nimitz and USS Ronald Reagan for the second time in two weeks in the South China Sea.

Justice YU Lalit will join the Supreme Court Collegium from July 20 with Supreme Court Judge Justice R Banumathi retiring.
Justice Lalit will be the fifth senior judge of the Supreme Court who will play his role in the appointment of the judges.
Apart from the appointment of judges in the Supreme Court and High Court, the transfer of High Court judges is also done on the recommendations of the Supreme Court Collegium.
Apart from Justice Lalit, Chief Justice SA Bobde, Justice NV Ramana, Justice Arun Mishra and Justice RF Nariman are included in the collegium. However, Justice Arun Mishra will retire on 5 September 2020.
Justice UU Lalit was taken from the Bar on 13 August 2014.June, Justice Lalit, who started a legal career as a lawyer in 1983, practiced in the Bombay High Court till December 1985. In January 1986, he shifted his advocacy to Delhi. He was nominated as a senior advocate of the Supreme Court in April 2004. He was also appointed by the Supreme Court as the special counsel of the CBI for hearing in 2G cases.
